"We've Got Annie"

Last night Nathan and had a date to see the musical Annie at the Orange County Performing Arts Center. I had learned that this was coming to OC last summer and I desperately wanted to take him then, but with money being tight we opted to not buy tickets. Well on Monday I got an email offering tickets half off and I just knew we had to do it. I called up my dear friend who also had wanted to take her daughters and we bought tickets to attend Friday night.

Nathan was so thrilled to go on a date with me that I don't think he really realized that we were going to a large theater (he thought looked like a mansion inside) to see a beloved performance. Nathan has seen the movie Annie before and loves it and I personally had seen Annie as a little girl up in LA- it was a special night for both of us.
The performance was great as was the company. Tricia and her daughters joined us and we met up with another friend, Janice, who was there with her daughter and husband (not seated with us).

It will be a night that I know we both will remember- what an honor is was to be escorted by such a handsome young man.
