Last Thursday Dan and I took off for a week in our nation's Capital- Washington D.C. We had both been there before, but not together. We had dreamed about going back with each other and thanks to Delta miles and our fabulous moms, we were off!!
We found a great rental in the Capital District and stayed for 6 nights- just the right time to see and do everything we could think of.

We had three beautiful days and then the weather turned cold and it snowed. After the snow storm, the city stayed in the low 30's (feeling like the mid 20's). We still managed to get out and about, but it was a lot harder.
