Last night Dan and I headed up to Hollywood to see Sara Bareilles and Josh Radin in concert. After sitting in Friday night traffic, we made it up to Hollywood- where we found out there had been a shooting earlier in the day! This concert was general admission (first come, first serve) and required us to stand in line for 2 hours before we were let into the concert hall. We also discovered that there were NO seats- standing only (think mosh pit). Although the concert was amazing and we were nice and close to the performers, we are definitely TOO old to stand for 6 hours straight! Thankfully the kids and dog had sleepovers and we were able to sleep in till 10am the next day.
