Jason:: Tooth Be Gone!!

Well, we have waited for a year and a half for Jason's third tooth to finally came out- and it did (with a little help). I think he may have been the only 2nd grader who hadn't lost one of his top teeth- well, no more. With the help of some dental floss and a doorknob- tooth #3 has left the building!! Way to go Jason!! I have a feeling you will be singing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" 

Lego Time

We have been so busy every day after VBS, but today we slowed things down a bit. After lunch we dove into creating some cool Lego sets. This was just the thing we needed to fill our afternoon, but keep it on the down-low!!

VBS 2013

For the fourth, fabulous year- the boys have participated in Vacation Bible School (VBS) at Voyagers Bible Church. The children's ministry at this church has a special gift at bringing the kids into an amazing theme (this year it is Sonrise Road Rally), bringing them closer to the Lord.

Another reason we love VBS is that we are reunited with friends that we don't get to see often. Two of them being Claire and Maddie Poissonier.

Silly Brothers

We enjoyed dinner at California Pizza Kitchen tonight. We were super happy since we won 50% off of our entire bill- a special treat!! The boys were sweet with each other- Nathan was warming up a chilled Jason and snuggled with him. After that things turned silly- I love these boys!!

Big Air- jump in and have fun!!

After VBS we joined our friends for a fun afternoon at Big Air. What is Big Air? An indoor trampoline park, that's what!!  This place was awesome and perfect for energetic kids on a cloudy day (great for a sunny day too).

Brotherly Love

We had a quick visit with Ryan tonight. He was in town to see his sister's dance recital, but we were able to hang out with him, share a meal and take him to the airport. It was short, but sweet. We laughed hard at silly jokes, watched the tightrope crossing of the Grand Canyon, had yummy Oggi's pizza and Yogurtland. It was an awesome time together. Wish we got to see him more often!!

Tonight Dan and Jason had some special time together. Mom was at a concert in San Diego and Nathan was at a preteen event at church. So after dinner at Chili's, there was park play and then bookstore browsing. A perfect night together!!

Summer Fun Begins

School's out for the summer!! We are celebrating here in the Crout house!! We celebrated the end of the year by going to Soak City, Buena Park! This was our third time going and the most crowded. The kids love it and I am a fan too (crowds and all).

 They don't call it Soak City for nothing!!
